6 DAYS TOUR FOR GORILLA AND CHIMPANZEE TREKKING: 

ITINERARY BREAKDOWN:

DAY ONE:

You will be picked from Entebbe International airport by our team and dropped off to the booked Hotel for meals and a night stay.

DAY 2:

After morning breakfast, you will be transfered to Kibale forest National park, having lunch on the way. you will take the western rout, kampala - fortportal route through mubende town, around 218 kilometers from kampala. You will check in the booked Hotel for Dinner and a night stay.( Hotels such as Rweteera Safari Park,Legend Executive suites. etc) 

DAY 3.

You will wake up in the morning for breakfast and after you will be transferred to wildlife offices for briefing and then embark off with the park rangers for chimpanzee trekking. You will spend one hour watching and filming the Chimpanzees from their natural Habitat!

After you will retreat to the booked Hotel for Lunch and refreshment. In the afternoon/evening, you will have a Nature walk through the BIGODI SWAMP where you will see alot of amazing species such as the Red tailed monkey, Black and white monkey, Blue monkey, Vavet monkey, white colobus monkey, olive baboons, sitatungas and  variety of bird species!

After then you will retreat back to the Hotel for meals and a night stay.

DAY 4.

After breakfast in Kibale, you will be transfered to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park, south western part of the country with lunch enroute. Upon getting to Bwindi, you will check in the booked Hotel for dinner and a night stay.( Buhoma Lodge, Mahogany spring hotel, Silverback Lodge etc)

DAY 5

You will have a very early morning breakfast at around 6 am and after you will be transfered to the wildlife offices with a packed lunch box for briefing ahead of meeting the gentle giants. After the briefing, you will take off with the rangers into the thick forest of Bwindi/Mgahinga. you are advised to move with trekking facilities/clothes like trousers and shoes like canvas to make movement through the park easy as you meet the Historical Mountain Gorillas! You will spend close to 2 hours watching these Gorillas as they feed and play! This is a very fantastic experience that will stick in your memory for years!

After, you will retreat back to the Hotel and relax. In the evening, you will EITHER go for a nature walk to the Bwindi community to encounter the pigmies localy called the Batwa. They are known for being too short compared to other Human beings! You will interact with them to witness how they live their life and share their history. OR you will have a traditional dance by the local traditional dancers.

After the evening, you will retreat back to the Hotel for Dinner and a night stay.

DAY 6

You will have breakfast in Bwindi and then be transfered back to kampala. you will have Lunch on the way in Mbarara City and have a brief stop over at Kayabwe for Equator experience before drop off to Entebbe for a flight back home.
