ABOUT KAYMUS TOURS AND SAFARIS LTD

We provide all the services in partnership with other service providers through the country especially the Hotels and Lodges, together with several Authorities mainly the Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Uganda Tourism board/Government of the republic of Uganda. Therefore, Policies and approaches taken by such players directly determine our model of operation and thus some times, we may have to make changes any time depending on new developments presented by our fellow players.

Kaymus tours and Safaris reserves the right to alter any route or arrangement or vary the safari services in any way in the event of unforeseen circumstances  such as road closure, bad weather or security conditions. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made depending on the circumstances thereafter.

Kaymus Tours and Safaris reserves the right to contract a subcontractor to provide all or part of the services agreed to be provided.

During the tour, all clients Must observe all the rules and regulations as given by the authorities, service providers and our staff team. Failure to comply might lead to cancellation of the tour.

Any Safari to be booked, a 40% deposit must be made by the client basing on the invoiced total cost. The 40% does not cover fees such as Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking Fees. 

The Safari is only Confirmed upon full Payment of the total cost invoiced.

For activities such as game viewing and Trekking any animal, we don't provide 100% Guarantee that the animals will be seen but we do all what it takes to make sure that our client gets to view what is intended in the tour.

 

Upon discussion with the Client, a Tour Itinerary is designed in line with the client specification and priced accordingly. The cost covers the following unless stated differently:

Night stay in Hotels/Lodges/Guest Houses/Tents, the 3 main meals(Breakfast, Lunch and dinner), Park entrance fees, Ranger fees, Airport transfers where applicable, ground transportation, English speaking Driver guide and bottled mineral water in the vehicle, Game drives and Boat cruise.

Prices are subject to change in case of Rate fluctuations that can happen time to time.

Payments are only acceptable in us $ and deposits can be made through our bank details as will be revealed on the invoice or Itinerary. 

In the even that a client cancels a tour, the following will apply:

1. Incase of cancellation 30 days to the start of the tour, No any refund shall be made to a client.

2. Incase of cancellation, 31-60 days to the start of the tour, 30% will be refunded to the client. The 30% will be computed excluding Gorilla and Chimpanzee trekking fees, PLUS the costs that will have been paid to other service providers such as Hotels and lodges! this is because, these are independent service providers and their Refund policies are independent from Kaymus Tour and Safaris Limited. NOTE: Most of their terms are not having a refund in any event.

3.Incase of cancellation 61-90 days to the start of the tour, 40% will be refunded, under same conditions as in case number 2.

4. Incase of cancellation 91 days and above to the start of the tour, 70% will be refunded to the client under same conditions under case number 2.

NOTE:

It is taken on the basis that any client is in agreement to all the above Terms and Conditions the moment a safari booking is confirmed with us without any compromise to any of these terms and conditions.
